Is Payactiv free for employees?
There is no cost to get started and no enrollment or activation fees. Many services are free. A transaction fee may apply to instant Earned Wage Access transfers, but real-time EWA transfers are free with a qualifying direct deposit of $200 or more per pay period to the Payactiv Card.
When can I access my earned wages?
As you work, a portion of your earned wages becomes available to access through Payactiv. Check the Payactiv app to see your available amount and access your money when you need it.
How much of my paycheck can I access?
The amount depends on your employer’s Payactiv settings. In most cases, employees can access up to 50% of earned wages, with a maximum of $500 per pay period. With direct deposit set up to the Payactiv Visa Card, you may be able to access up to $1,000 per request.
Does using Payactiv affect my regular paycheck?
The amount you access is automatically deducted from your next paycheck and appears as a line item on your pay stub. There is no interest — it’s simply access to money you’ve already earned.
Who is eligible to get the Payactiv Visa® Card?
Anyone in the United States, who is 18 years or older may apply for a Payactiv Visa® Card. No bank account is required and there is no credit check nor is your credit affected because it’s not a credit card.
How much does it cost to get the Payactiv Visa® Card?
Nothing. There are no enrollment or activation fees, no monthly usage fees, no activity requirements, and no minimum balance requirements. You can get started and use the card for direct deposit and purchases at no cost.
