NPC Offers Payactiv’s Financial Wellness Benefit

As of November 25th, all 37,000 employees of NPC International, the nation’s fifth-largest restaurant operator, have on-demand access to their earned wages with the PayActiv financial wellness benefit.

NPC was looking for a benefit that would reduce financial stress and help increase the financial wellness of its vast employee base.  “At NPC, our priority is our people, so we are proud to support our employees by offering PayActiv to every member of our team,” said Carl Hauch, CEO of NPC International – Wendy’s.

With PayActiv NPC employees will be able to get instant access to their earned wages when they want, use their earned but not yet paid wages for Uber rides, Amazon purchases, paying bills, and also get discounts on prescription drugs, financial counseling and start saving for the future.

The launch of the Payactiv program has been very successful and has been widely celebrated by management and employees alike, “In the first weeks of launch, more than 10% of employees had taken advantage of this benefit, including accessing more than $578,000 in earned wages before payday. PayActiv helps our team members prepare for unexpected expenses by accessing their pay as they need it and saving for emergencies.” said Jon Weber, CEO of NPC International – Pizza Hut.
