Payactiv gives you access to the money you worked for but haven’t been paid yet. The money you access is then accounted for in your next paycheck, giving you the flexibility to pay for things on your own schedule.

You can get early access to a maximum of 50% of your earned wages, up to $750. Please note, this does not include any commissions earned.

Your earned wages are a percentage of your estimated net wages (gross wages minus estimated taxes and other deductions). For example, if you have earned $500 gross wages. We estimate 10% will go towards taxes, giving you $450. We then give you 50% of this estimated net for an available balance of $225.

Remember, the Payactiv card is not your Macy’s, Inc. paycard.

Your accessible EWA balance is a percentage of your estimated net wages (gross wages minus estimated taxes and other deductions).

No, your paycheck is only impacted if you perform an EWA transaction.
Yes, your outstanding balance will be deducted from your paycheck.

All you need is your name, phone number,  and employee ID! 

It’s free to transfer your earned wages to a bank account (1-3 business days) or to your Payactiv Visa® Card* (same-day). It is also free to apply your earned wages toward an Uber ride or bills in the Payactiv app. Other expedited disbursement options are available for $1.75 or less.

Transfers to bank accounts and other debit/prepaid cards are completed within 48 hours. However, if you select a Walmart cash pick up or an instant transfer to a bank account/debit card, the money is available immediately. Transactions made after 12:50 p.m. EST Monday – Friday, are processed the next business day.

Money you have accessed early will show as an “Earned Wage Access” on your paycheck.

It’s possible that Payactiv hasn’t received your hours. That information is usually shared at the end of each day, but if you continue to see an incorrect accessible amount, please check your time clockings or contact your People Leader to make sure your hours were recorded correctly.

Yes! Payactiv is compatible with most debit, prepaid, and payroll cards.

There is no catch! It’s just your money in your hands. It’s not a loan and has no hidden fees. Ever.

You can download the Payactiv app from the Apple/Google stores. Once downloaded, just:

  • Create an account in the app
  • Verify Macy’s, Inc. as your employer
  • Enter your employee ID
  • Choose the amount you want to access
  • Select how you want to receive your wages

And that’s it! From there, feel free to explore the app, where you can link your bank account, use our financial tools, and more. Welcome to Payactiv!
